The Clear Lake Area
The Clear Lake Area is located halfway between downtown Houston and Galveston Island. It is an area of 125 square miles in which more than 156,000 people reside. Its proximity to the industries of the Houston Ship Channel and the Johnson Space Center make it an ideal commute. Opportunities abound for those interested in boating and all types of water recreation. The area supports numerous shopping malls and neighborhood shopping centers. The area has a wide variety of cuisine’s to satisfy the most adventurous diner. There are nine distinct municipalities located near or next to the body of water known as Clear Lake.

Clear Lake City - Although it is about 23 miles to the southeast, Clear Lake City is part of the city of Houston. It was a master-planned community begun in 1963 and is still growing today. It is home to NASA’s Johnson Space Center and the interactive exhibit called Space Center Houston. This educational facility features America’s journey into space and is visited by more than 2 million people each year. Other amenities of Clear Lake include excellent public schools and an upper level branch of the University of Houston.

Clear Lake Shores - A small community of 1,100 residents located on the south side of the lake features a laid back lifestyle. You can cruise through the neighborhood on your own golf cart.

El Lago - A popular, wooded community bordered by Taylor Lake is home to 3,200 residents.

Kemah - Located where the waters of Clear Lake flow into Galveston Bay, this community likes to be known as the “gateway to the bay”. This area has many fine seafood restaurants, quaint shops and boating facilities.

League City - An incorporated town of over 33,000 people. Numerous new neighborhoods are being built, including the master-planned, 27 hole golf course community of South Shore Harbor.

Nassau Bay - This waterfront community has some of the finest views around. Many homes have their own boat docks to take advantage of lake’s water activities.

Seabrook - Located along the waters of Galveston Bay and Clear Lake, this community has neighborhoods in a wide variety of price ranges. On weekends visitors enjoy shopping at the business community’s Back Bay Market. For boat enthusiasts, the town has 300 boat slips and the premium Lakewood Yacht Club.

South Shore Harbour - 27 Hole Championship Golf Course surrounds this waterfront community offering first class dining, spectacular waterfront views, marinas offering a unique lifestyle.  Elementary, Intermediate and High School are conveniently located, as well as shopping. Building continues to off many custom homes with spacious lots and a variety of resale homes available.

Taylor Lake Village - Many magnificent homes boast waterfront views of beautiful Taylor Lake. This area has about 4,000 residents in several subdivisions.

Webster - This area is known for its restaurants, businesses and convenient access to Interstate 45. .

Friendswood
The population of the City of Friendswood is approaching 29,000. The construction of new homes is expected to expand the population by 3% each year. The residents of this area are just a short commute to the amenities of Houston, yet they enjoy many aspects of their own community. Friendswood has excellent schools, parks and affordable housing. Yearly scheduled events include a concert in the park series, “Heritage Day”, July 4th celebration and home/garden tours. This is a place where residents value community identity and quality of life.

Pearland
The City of Pearland covers an area of 66 square miles and is home to 34,000 people. It is the northernmost section of Brazoria County. Residents are just a 20 minute drive from downtown Houston. Pearland prides itself in its small-town feel while making the most of its proximity to Houston.

Tiki Island
Unique community with deep water canals and channels that offer easy access to the waters of Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Homes are built on raised piers and have superb views of the water and sunset. Only 40 minute commute to downtown Houston and 20 minutes to Clear Lake.
